    Question:   I had a cystoscopy done in the hospital 10 days ago. I took 500 mg of Cipro for 5 days as prescribed by my doctor. He also prescribed Detrol 4 mg a day for 7 days. I had taken the Detrol before the surgery and it had no effect, but figured the doctor knew something I didin't.     Question:   I have an 88-year-old grandmother who has always been pretty healthy. She now has this disease mycobacterium avium.
