Question:  Eight years ago I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). I have been using natural herbs, including Chinese to help with pain and stiffness. I have been researching the disease since diagnosis, and as a result have refused the rednesone/methotrexate cocktails offered by rheumatologists. 8 months ago I tested positive to mycoplasma and commenced the Antibiotic Protocol (minocycline) as researched by Dr Thomas Brown USA. (www.roadback.org) My general well-being is slowly improving...    Dr. McLaughlin's Answer

Question:   We have an indoor dog and I suspect my youngest daughter has flea bites. She is also running a 102 fever with a runny nose. Could the fever and runny nose be an allergic reaction to the bites?    Dr. McLaughlin's Answer

Question:   I am fair skinned and tan easily. My problem is that I get ingrown hairs on my legs after waxing. When I remove the ingrown, after a few days the scab turns brown and in the middle of the brown spot the skin is a little bit indented and is a pinky/white color. Some spots are just brown. I have these spots here and there from my thighs to my ankles. The spots seem to be worse where there is sun exposure. What can I do to prevent ingrowns and how can I get rid of these brown spots? Hope you can help me.    Dr. McLaughlin's Answer
