Breast Enlargement
August 2001

Q. Are there effective treatments for breast enlargement without surgery? There are advertisements of pills, creams etc. for breast enlargements, but I don't see how they could work. Are any of them for real?

A. Your question on this topic indicates that you are skeptical of the advertising on this topic...good! It will save you from investing hard earned money for unproven treatments.

As we are constantly being exposed to print and television ads with images of lean, fit, young, smiling people, it is hard not to feel something is amiss if you don't look quite the same. Breast size in particular is mostly determined by your genetic inheritance, and somewhat influenced by body size and overall weight. Better to emphasize healthy diet and exercise habits than to rely on creams and pills which are unproven.
