Question:   Do most women have hair on their nipples and is it usually dark? What is your advice for removal? If you pluck hair will it grow back darker?    Dr. Shiller's Answer

Question:   I am a final year student at the University of Portsmouth, studying Information Technology and Society. For my dissertation I am researching Brain Gender, and the consequences it holds for the workplace and IT. Do you think women can ever achieve equality in the workplace in areas such as technology, engineering etc. typically male dominated areas, when our brains are wired differently and our area of skills vary. I would appreciate your view on this subject and whether you could recommend any relevant web pages.    Dr. Shiller's Answer

Question:   I have found out that I am pregnant and need advice. I have an IUD still in place. What is the best choice regarding what to do with it? What are the statistics on its removal causing a miscarriage? Also, I had surgery in Nov., 1998 and have a blood clot for which I was taking coumadin. I am probably less than 2 months into the pregnancy; this will be determined soon. The question is, now that I have switched to low molecular heprin, what are the statistics about birth defects that may be caused by the use of approximately 5 mg of the coumadin per day over the first 1-2 months?    Dr. Shiller's Answer
